Once again I have added to the furry Cribbs family. I have just adopted a new hamster brother for Tau, Kali and Franklin. His name is Lance and he is adorable. I don't know much about his personality yet, since I just got him an hour ago. But he is a different hamster variety than Franklin. Lance is known as a Roborovski Hamsters which comes from Mongolia. He is about 1/4 of the size of Franklin but his cage is three times as big as Franklins. Lance's family has to move and unfortunatley they could not take him so he is going to live at Shangri La Cindy's.

Below is a picture, it is not actually Lance but it is his more famous twin that is on the internet. I will update you more as I get to know him and I will definately let everyone know how Tau and Kali respond to him. Let the chaos begin.

Let me take a moment to introduce you to my family that have died and crossed over who are still part of my life today. First there is my grandfather, who we called Pap-pa, he is my mother's father and I adored him growing up. He moved to Texas when I was just knee high to a grasshopper and my mother joined him shortly after that. He died in 1994 after being ill for awhile, I believe he was ready to go. My Pap-pa has never really left this plain. He was around for my Grandma Carol during her mourning and he is still here. The way he makes himself known to me at my house is by standing behind the bedroom door and peaking around the corner. I believe he does this because he does not want to impose on me, he just wants to be there for me. He usually does not come around unless I am having a really hard time. With the separation and divorce he has been around a lot. My grandma, whom we called Mam-ma, died in 2003, she just flat out told me she would not be coming back to visit me because she had other things to do. She did visit briefly right after she passed away, she appeared to my friend Sandy to give her a message for me. My great grandmother, who passed over in 1986 and I did not know she was at my house until recently.
There are a few others there that come and go. Harrison comes and goes but has not been there for awhile, but he has his own "signature call" when he arrives so that I know it is him. There are the guides who are always there and I have guardians that are posted around my house for protection. So I am usually entertained and kept company by them.

As I mentioned I did a cleansing at my house and asked all the spirits to cross over and leave my home. The guides and guardians are still there, you can't ask them to leave, there job is to stay and protect me and they do not interfere with my day to day life. The spirits on the other hand do. They don't necessarily interfere with my life but they can get a bit crazy. I have to ask them to be quiet at night a lot. I think they sometimes forget that I am sleeping and they will talk and gab all night. Sometimes I have to ask them to stay in the living room because the dogs will watch the hallway all night. If they get out of hand I really get on to them. I have lived this way for so long it is second nature to me. I don't even think about it when things move, fall, open or turn on around me. It sounds weird but that is the way it is. Now, I have to wonder how #3 dealt with at the beginning. It must have drove him crazy to have this wired energy around all the time. But, he never said anything, unless they started to bother him.

Anyway, based on what I was reading about ghosts I learned how much they can inter act with us and cause problems. A ghost is nothing but energy, they no longer have a body, they are no longer human they are simply energy. In order for a ghost to stay on this plain they have to feed off of energy and they get that from people. Have you ever heard someone say that they woke up and were being held down by a ghost? This is not true; it is called fear paralysis. Basically a ghost can not hold you down physically, but they can interfer with your dreams and cause you to have a bad dream that is very frightening and gets your energy going while you are sleeping. This is giving them strenghth from your energy and causing you some serious trauma from the nightmare.

Fighting is another way a ghost can get energy from you. Have you ever had a great day and got home and just started fighting for no reason what so ever. You don't even know what you were fighting about all you know is that you want to fight and argue until someone breaks. This It is very possible that you were just given a ghost induced fight, they needed energy so they caused a fight to get that energy.

This is what I realized was going on with me and #3. Our relationship was a good one up to a point then it got crazy weird. We both started doing and saying things that just did not make any sense at all. People who knew him no longer even recognized him. I thought maybe he made a contract with a walk in. I just did not know all I knew was that if I went home we would fight about something or nothing. Eventually it got to the point that anytime we were in the same space together we would fight. I literally had notes in my car to remind me not to call and ask him if he wanted to go somewhere, because, that would cause him to start bitching about money and all that he did not have, which would then start a fight.

Oncewe were separated he kept telling me that he thought I would be more like my grandmother. This made no sense to me, since he had never met my grandmother, not once. How could he think I was going to be more like her. He had seen pictures of her, so I did not know what he thought I could be like. She was 5"2 and little, so did he think I was going to turn into a 5 foot 2 inch little old woman? He would tell me that I said I was just like her and I did but I meant personality wise not body wise. Either way, it was just the oddest comment to make to someone. I remember looking at him one day and asking "When did our relationship turn into every other relationship I have ever had?" My meaning was our relationship started out so different and we were so compatible (or so I thought) when did it go wrong.

While reading this book, I got the sudden feeling that I knew what happened and why it all went to hell. I called Phyllis to see if she would do a reading and let me know what she got. Well needless to say, we were not prepared for the response that Phyllis got. Let me explain how this works, there are times when something is going on and I will ask a trusted friend to do a reading, I can do one myself but since this is very personal I sometimes will read something into the situation that may not be there or I could take an answer the wrong way. So when I really need help I will ask a trusted friend to help me out. Since Phyllis comes to my house she knows the vibrations and energy that reside there, basically she has been introduced to the spirits and they know her and trust her. So they are more willing to talk to her than maybe someone who has never been to my house. Also because of the spirits and the intense energy in my home, I do not allow many people to come over. If the spirits do not like the person or feel a threat it causes the energy to get off balance and it takes a lot of work to get it corrected.
Phyllis picked up on a lady that was in my home, she was an older lady and she was a bit grumpy. She flat out told Phyllis that she was there to teach me a lesson. This message and lady were confusing to Phyllis because she c0uld not figure out who it was. But as soon as she relayed the message to me I knew who it was...my Great Grandmother; Mabel Smith. My first and strongest thought were "Oh Hell No!!!! You are not going to teach me any lesson." If she was going to teach me anything she should have done it while she was alive and not now. The second thing was that she would not be allowed to teach me a lesson that is strictly up to the guides and if they thought I was suppose to learn something from her they would have told me up front and brought her to me. Not let her demand that she has something to teach me. They are very protective over me and my lessons since they feel I do not have time to waste on trival things and I have to agree.
Mabel Smith died November 6, 1986, she was in her 80's. She lived in Florida with my Grandmother, Lucille. I did not know her very well, she was around while I was growing up but all I remember of her was that she was grumpy and did not seem to like us kids that much. Of course, as an adult, I don't like kids that much either so I can understand her being grumpy. Before Mabel died she recorded a tape where she sat at the nursing home and talked about her life. She talked about growing up, getting married and having children. The only thing that really stood out for me on that tape was her talking about her only daughter, Lucille, and how disappointed she was when she got married and had kids. Apparently, Mabel wanted her daughter to stay home and take care of her and my grandmother did this til the day Mabel died. She took Mabel in and they lived together for as long as I can remember until about 6 months or so before she died and had to be put in a rest home. My personal belief is that Mabel stayed with my grandmother even after dying. She probably just lived in the same house and carried on as usual, she was just dead.
After I got this information from Phyllis I got pissed and there is nothing worse than losing your temper with a ghost, because you are giving them more energy. So I had to control my temper until I could figure this out. I sat down with the guides for information and advice on what to do. I was starting to feel really guilty; and that is almost impossible to do with me. But, I knew that she had somehow caused most of the problems with #3 and myuself.
#3 and I did not really start having problems until around 2004 or so not long after my grandmother passed away. At the time, there were several hits to our lives that we were dealing with so I did not pay much attention to the trouble. But here is what I pieced together. December 2003 I went to Houston to visit my family. I was right in the middle of grieving of Harrison's passing 2 weeks before so emotionally I was a disaster. My grandmother was just diagnosed with cancer and she had pretty much given up on life. I personally believe that she did not want to fight anymore and just decided to go. It was very difficult to watch someone when they decide they are ready to die. Their body just starts shutting down piece by piece. I remember laying next to her in the bed and just talking. She did not have much of a voice but I could hear her. Mostly, I just wanted to be with her.
As I told you before my grandmother and I have the same personality and energy level. So I can see how Mabel would have gotten confused; as a ghost she would be reading energy and as my grandmother was dying her energy level was almost on non-existant but my energy level was at the highest it could be due to grieving. My theory is that Mabel stayed with energy she recognized, the only problem was it was mine not my grandmothers. So Mabel then became a resident in my home. Since she is a direct relative there would have been no reason for me to not allow her in my home. The guides told me that once she got home with me she found that I was married and had a life that did not revolve around her, in fact she had no part in my life. Not knowing her when she was alive makes it hard for me to know if she knew she was with her great granddaughter or if she thought I was my grandmother. My best guess is she thought I was my grandmother, it just makes more sense. I can only imagine she disappointment when she realized that there was a man in her daughters life something she never wanted when she was alive. So she started interferring in our marriage to cause trouble to make things the way she wanted them.
This is where #3's comments about being like my grandmother come into play. I think Mabel was telling him that I needed to be more like the person that she knew. She had to be confused about the energy because I am much more outgoing and verbal than my grandmother ever was. She also knew that I could tell she was around and knew other spirits were there as well. So there had to be confusion on her part as to why she was not getting the attention she normally would. Once the fighting started it was easier for her to get energy and get her way. She just kept on poking or stiring the pot as my mother likes to say.
So after getting this wonderful information I was also told by Ivy that I would never be allowed to have a permanent relationship with a man as long as I allowed her to stay in my home. She was too confused and mixed up to ever accept the fact that I am not her daughter. So the only way to have a life with someone would be to force her to cross over. So that is what I did, following the instruction given to me by the guides I cleansed my house and apparently channeled one of them for the incantations because when I went to record the incantations in my BOS (Book of Shadows) I could not remember them. As I went to bed that night I knew everyone was not gone so I continued to do the ritual until the full moon last night (July 18th) if that does not work then I am up shit's creek because I don't know where to go from here except to call on the coven and get help.
I am not sure if and when the others will come back all I know is that right now I am lost without all of them around me. I am not scared or worried just lonely. I am so used to having their energy that it is a comfort to me and to have them gone is just weird. So only time will tell as to who will return and they are all welcome except Mabel, but I think once she finds her daughter on the other side there won't be an issue with her returning.
And as I am writing this, I am told that she did find not only her daughter, but her husband and other family members on the other side and she is happy and staying there. There is no apology for the trouble she caused me because that is the type of person she is. But then why would she apologize for doing what she thought was best, even if it was wrong.
Religious Tolerance according to Wikipedia is "…the condition of accepting or permitting others' religious beliefs and practices which disagree with one's own." This is a weird subject for me to be talking about I know. But, it is one of the latest lessons I have been trying to learn. I know everyone is asking themselves how it is possible that I do not have religious tolerance. Well I do have religious tolerance just not as much as I thought I did.

First off let's start by explaining exactly what I mean by religious tolerance. Every since the day I came out of the "broom closet" and made it known to those around me that I was not a Christian but a Pagan I have had some issues with religion. Of course, my family does not understand my choices but they do their best to ignore it and hope this phase passes. But since this phase is going on 26 years I don't think it is going to pass.

Of course most of society assumes that America is a Christian country and that Americans are Christians. According to Religioustolerance.org (yes there is a website) the population of Christians in America is as of 2001 76.5% which is a decline from 1990 when the amount was 86.2%. That is a far cry for all Americans being Christians. In fact it notes that the fastest growing religion in America is Paganism and Wicca. Now I am not trying to get all the Christians to start a witch hunt on me, I am just pointing out that not every American is the same.

As far as us Non-Christians having religious tolerance, we don't necessarily have a choice. Christianity is forced down our throats at every turn, the Pledge of Allegiance was changed in 1954 by adding the line "One Nation under God" which is okay, if you clarify what god we are under. But, since it was done during the McCarthy area we all know it is under the Christian god and not any other religious god. As a kid I never said the pledge and not because of this line but because I was against giving my allegiance to anyone or any country until they proved to me they were worthy. As of today, their worth has still to be proven. As a child in school we said a prayer every morning before class started, I didn't care because it did not matter to me it was just another thing we did in the morning.

As I grew up and started identifying with my own religious beliefs, I started to see how one sided people could be. Chances were when they found out I was Pagan I would get the speech about going to hell, and worshipping Satan. I just found them funny, because in order to worship someone or something you have to believe in them first and in order to be relegated to hell you have to believe that is where you are going. Since Pagans do not believe in either of those it was just a silly comment to me. Now these same people come to me when they need a "spell" for something, such as, healing, a job, money, vengeance, etc. When they need something and are not getting by their normal means I am their new best friend. I simply tell them that my religious beliefs are not available for their amusement and if their god did not see fit to give them what they were asking for I doubt my would do so. This causes them to get pissed off at me and just assume everything I believe in is fake because I can't snap my wand and give them a million bucks. Oh well, one less person on the Yule card list.

Okay, now that I have ranted and knocked the soap box over with my tirade what am I getting to? The last several months have been filled with me reading every book on mediums and life after death experiences. Why? Because I am weird, but a lot of these books that I end up reading are coming from someone within the Christian community. They are devote Christians or Catholics and they know that their "gift" is not in line with what their religion teaches. But, they still do it and they make their "gift" fit into their belief system. I am almost certain that if you told the pope that you could communicate with dead people he would tell you it was evil as would most ministers and pastors out there. It is something that religions can not explain and the ministers and leaders do not have access to this ability so therefore it is wrong.

The latest book I just finished reading was called "Beyond These Four Walls" by Mary Rose Occhino she is a devote Catholic and she even tells you what she does goes against the Catholic Church but she does it anyways. I am now starting "Talking to Heaven" by James Van Praagh who is a very well renowned in the ghost hunting arena and his book starts of talking about meeting god and by the description he gives I can only assume it is Christianity based and he talks about being raised Catholic but he left the church due to their limited beliefs.

The first thing that comes to my mind when I get a book like this is "Oh great, another one about Christianity" and many times I will stop reading them. But the last few weeks my guides have pushed these books on me. For some unknown reason I keep picking them up and not putting them down. I start to read and see that is coming from a religious point of view and still I read on. I was baffled, what was going on here?

According to Z it was time for me to learn the lesson of Religious Tolerance and by that they mean that I am to learn how to not only accept Christians for their beliefs but to also listen to them and learn from them what I need to learn. They told me that the information is the same as if a Buddhist gave it to me. I take what I want and let the rest go. But, I have issues doing that with Christians. Apparently Christians are the only ones I have issues with, probably because they are so outspoken about how wrong I am in their eyes and they are the only ones that try to convert me to their way of thinking. So I am starting another book about a Christian who is a medium, who goes against the basic beliefs of the Christian church to do his own thing. I am hoping this lesson will be fast and painless, because with elections coming up I know I will get more visits at my house from those who want me to vote for someone based on their beliefs about God and I know my response will be to hold Tau up and tell them that we are voting for Satan our leader. Just to see the look of horror on their faces.

Ahh…Good times.

There is an old saying that goes

“in life there are only two guarantees in this world…tax and death”

This is absolutely true, you have to pay your taxes; or you go to jail and we all have to die. It is as much apart of life as being born. There is no getting around it everyone of us will die.

I am in no way an official on death; I simply get it better than most people do. It has never been a scary thing for me. With the help of ghost hunting, reading every book written by mediums, psychics and anyone who works with spirits or ghosts and information from the guides I have been given more information than most people have on dying and the afterlife; of course this is mostly because I ask for it and want to know.

As I start to prepare to ask the resident ghosts of my house to move on I am once again hit with the question of where will they go? This is a question I use to fight over when we would do ghost hunting. There are people who claim that we should send the spirits into the light, they claim the spirits have to move on. I agree but it is our responsibility to do this? Spirits are not stupid beings, they are very intelligent and for the most part they know why they have not crossed over. So what happens when you die? Well here is my perspective of the whole deal and maybe after I go over this again I will feel better about asking my spiritual friends to move on and start the next part of their existence.

Every body has a shelf life; you are only allotted so much time in your body. Some bodies are meant to last for a long time 100 years and over is not unheard of now a days. Some bodies are only here for a few minutes. Either way they are not meant to be here forever. Your spirit on the other hand does not have a shelf life; it has more of an educational life. Your spirit goes on lifetime after lifetime until you have learned everything you were meant to and once you have learned all there is to know your lifetimes end and your spirit becomes an enlightened being.

When a person’s time to leave comes they can go in so many different ways I could not possibly name them all so we will focus on the 2 that are most common. The first one is they are old or sick and they die with their family and friends around them. This is the way everyone wants to end their life here, quietly and peacefully, getting the chance to say our goodbyes and tell everyone we love them. The second is a fast unexpected death by accident or murder or even suicide. Usually there is no family, they are alone and scared, suicides are confused mentally, they are emotional and they are not thinking in the right frame of mind.

Any of these situations can cause a spirit to linger after the body dies. If they are old or sick, they may not want to leave their family, they are worried about what will happen to their spouse, kids, pets, etc. So they decide to stay around and watch over them. In the second situation they may simply not believe they are dead.

From what I understand when the body dies and the spirit is let free; there is something to indicate it is time to cross over. Most people like to believe there is a white light and that you go into the white light. Me I hope it is not that passé, I kind of think of the moment of crossover is like the airport. On one side of the turnstile gate are all my friends and relatives, the ones I like anyway, waiting for me to come through the terminal. There will be music, food, drinking and laughter it will be a huge party just for me.

This part of the “death process” is where you make some vital decisions. You can either go into the revolving door at the terminal or you can stay behind and let the door keep turning. For those of us still living let me give you a more normal example.

You wake up and it’s just another day you have to get out of bed and go to work. But, you can decide whether to go in or not. You know there will be consequences; if you are not on good grounds with your boss you may get fired for taking another day off, or you may just loss some vacation days. On the other had if you go in to work, you may have the best day ever and get that top account you have been working on. So there are choices to be made. Cross over is the same way, if you stay, you get stuck in a world where you can not be seen by your loved ones, you can not be heard by them and you get to watch it all from the unseen world you now live in. However, if you crossover then you can come back and forth anytime you like. There are no restrictions on your movements. You are still unseen by most of the living but you are better able to control your movements and interactions with them.

So what happens to those who stay here? Like I said they end up in a lonely unseen world trying to get those they love to notice them. But, for the people living they start causing problems in their lives. They can affect the emotions of those around them, first off the family is grieving and not in their normal frame of mind. They are craving one more interaction with you and you see this from the existence you are in. You try to get them to know that you are there and when they can’t you get frustrated. Your loved one picks up this frustration and you falsely think they know you are there. It is a vicious cycle that never ends in a good way. Your loved ones are stuck in the cycle of not being about to start the healing process and your spirit is stuck in the cycle of not crossing over.

So what do you do when you realize you have a spirit in your house that should have crossed over but didn't? Well stayed tuned and I will fill you in on my life with a pissed off ghost and my plan to make her leave.

Living with ghosts and spirits in your house and life is always a learning experience. If you are able to deal with them without getting scared it can be quite an exciting adventure. However, if you are the type who is afraid of the unknown then it can be terrifying. Me, I like my ghosts and spirits, I always have. I have been able to sense them for as long as I can remember. I think that is why I took to ghost hunting so well. It was not so much of the hunt for me as it was proving their existence to those who do not believe in them.

Ghost hunting was no longer fun for me after the death of a close friend a few years ago. I felt as if I was a peeping tom. I would burst into a building and force them out of their hiding places and allow the public to see them. It just all of the sudden seemed wrong. I knew that if I wanted to have spirits around me all I had to do was look, they were always around me. So I stopped ghost hunting.

When I met Dr. Melanie Robinson for the first time, the very first thing she did was ask me about all the spirits around me. Why were there so many of them? I explained the whole ghost hunting experiences and then giving it up. She told me that even though I gave it up, the ghosts did not get the memo. I may not be hunting them but they were certainly hunting me.

The thing about ghosts is that once they know you are aware of them it is a never ending whirlwind of fun. It’s not like on TV and I am standing there and a see through person walks through my house. I don’t usually see them at all, I sense their energy and they sense mine. I can sense them moving in my house, I can sense them entering and leaving, the whole vibration of the energy changes when they are around. For those with me at the time, if they are not sensitive to the changes they usually do not know when a spirit is around. However, when the spirit gets tired of their presence not being acknowledge by EVERYONE in the house they can start “playing” with those people. They will start making noises, not chains dragging across the floor, but footsteps, laughing, talking, etc. They will start moving things, opening and closing doors, turning lights on and off, that sort of thing. Until they are either reprimanded by me or the other person finally acknowledges their presence.

Over the years I have had people call or email me to tell me about this evil demon that resides in their house. They will tell me all the horrible things this demon is doing. They can describe in detail the marks, bruises, pushing, shoving and choking that this demon is doing to them. These are cases I do not deal with and there is a reason for that. I have never in my entire life allowed anyone alive or dead to violate my physical body. A ghost can only exist in this world by the energy put off by a person. I have never experienced a ghost hurting me, hitting me, shoving me, scratching me or anything else of that nature. I have had them touch me, whisper my name, bang around the house, jump on the bed, sit on the bed, move the blinds (Harrison's personal favorite way to annoy me) and of course mess with the dogs. I personally feel that in order to deal with a ghost it helps to know what the person is experiencing and since I have never experienced it and to be honest I do not usually believe them I don't want to deal with it. 9 times out of 10 these people are looking for some Hollywood version of an exorcism and I am not giving them one. They also have attached so many religious connotations to their haunting that I wonder if they are in their right mind to start with.

So you may be wondering why I am giving you a lesson in Living with at Ghost 101 and it is because of the last few days I have found out a lot about the ghosts that reside in my home and what damage they can do to your life. Up until 3 or 4 days ago, I would have never guessed a ghost could actually interfere with my life for their own personal reasons but I was wrong. Now to fix what one in particular has done, I am cleaning house and sending them into the light, the universe, the neighbors house, I don't care where they go but they have to leave my house.

I have not done the work yet because we just left a new moon and ghosts get surges of energy on the new moon and the full moon. So to work around the moon is always best but you want to do the work with the moon coming up not leaving. So I will wait until the next full moon to do the actual work. In the meantime, I am talking to them and explaining what is going on and why, there is only one that is causing problems but it is not a healthy thing for them to live in some one's house permanently. They have left this world and the next phase of their evolution is to move on into the next world or at least spend 75% of their time in the next world and come back here to haunt those who deserve it.

Coming up I will explain what and who is causing all my trouble.
So I am a day late in wishing everyone a Happy 4th of July, but the sentiment is the same.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Summer holiday as much as I did. For once I was off on a national holiday. I have to admit that I was a bit perplexed as to what I should do. As you probably know I work most of the holidays since I don't have family here in Albuquerque so I usually just keep most holiday's low key. But this year I decided that I wanted to have fun so I had a BBQ. I invited some friends over and we ate until we could not move.

The party started out with Phyllis and I shopping for food on Thursday. We got steaks, chicken, turkey sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob, baked beans, fresh bread, cheesecake and watermelon. There was a ton of food for just 4 people and 2 dogs.

We ate and sat around in the air conditioning watching television and just enjoying each others company. The party ended around 7 since Harold and I have to work this weekend. So after everyone left I munched on leftovers and watch Lifetimes Falala 4th, where they were playing Christmas specials on the 4th. Get it Christmas in July.

Anyway, I watched "The Christmas Shoes" if you have not seen this show, it is based on a book (which I have never read) and a song (which I have heard). It is about a mother who is dying and her son who is having a difficult time with it. The other parallel story is a lawyer who is working so much to help others that he is forgetting about his own family. Both families are slightly intermingled throughout the show, the dying mother is friends with the lawyers wife, the son meets the lawyers mother who gives him one of her son's baseball caps, the son's father is an auto mechanic who works on the lawyers car. As the movie progresses it is about half way through that the Christmas shoes come into the movie. The son overhears his mom and the lawyers wife talking about when they meet. The mom was talking about how every year on their anniversary her and her husband go dancing since that is how they met. She tells her that every year she puts on her dancing shoes and feels special for just a few hours. Once the son overhears this he runs to town to find the shoes for his mom and he does. He then spends the rest of the show trying to raise the $19.99 for the shoes. As with all lifetime dramas if you don't want to cry don't watch this show, cause it is a tear jerker.

By this time in the evening it sounded like I lived in Bagdad, with firecrackers and other very loud exploding things going off all around me. My neighbors called ask if it was bothering me and to be honest other than the dogs barking at the louder ones I did not really care. But, they did and they were trying to call the police. But our war zone was quiet by 10 o'clock so everything was okay.

Now as I look back on my little holiday, I have to say I was very happy through it all. I enjoyed the great company that came over and the food and conversation that went right along with it. I hope everyone else had a great holiday as well.
